A project that might cause a tiff with your spouse. For brave crafters only!

Now I just know you all have one of these cookie tins lyin' around that prim house of yours.

I know this because that is how we prim folk roll. If we think something has 'good bones' and can be made into a prim little treasure we hang onto it. We do that.. You know we do.. We won't throw anything away until we have thought about every single possibility for the object with 'good bones'. We also can't pass up a chair or table that has 'good bones' in someones trash on garbage day. My husband knows the whole 'drill' for a 'good bones' object on trash day.

1. He will be the one who has to first go up to the door and kindly ask if the object is being thrown away and if we may have it because that's just good manners. He doesn't even try to explain to me anymore that if it's in the trash next to the garbage can, then it's obviously being thrown out and no one will mind if we take it. We have been down that road enough times for him to know that I will insist we ask permission first.

2. He will be the one who loads it into the back of the truck while I slouch down and hide a little in the front seat.

If you don't have one of these cookie tins, you must have finally thrown it away because you got tired of seeing it in the garage. But don't worry, you know one will show up again the next time the holidays roll around!

Here is a little idea of what you can do with it next time! xoxo

  1. What a great post!!
    Wonderful idea.
But I literally LOL at you section about you slouching down in the front seat!!
Hehee! I could see me doing the same thing. :)
You have one great Hubby there.
Mine would insist that if I wanted it, then I would have to go ask!! ;)
More than likely though he would just drive by and say I had enough of my own junk, that I didnt need others too!!
Thanks for the giggle and the wonderful idea!!
